Oresama Teacher 100

Hello! Here is chapter 100, long overdue! x___x So sorry about that. ;____; It's a pretty lax chapter, summer is ending!! D; I took a peek at 101 and they're back at school. And the student council are at it again! >:O

Oh, and we finally found our proofreader! Please say hello to Ely~! :3

Download Here

I hope you all enjoy it!!

EDIT:

I am NOT dropping Oresama Teacher. The blurb here about mangafox, mangareader, etc. was just me being a bit emotional about the whole situation. I actually had no intentions of dropping Oresama and was only looking for a way to slow down the uploading speed to those streaming websites. So no more fighting! I am very sorry for worrying any Oresama fans! There is nothing more to fear! Oresama is here! <3

    1. Right! Sorry about the rant. I was kind of upset because of how quickly mangareader got ahold of my translation. I will most likely want to just find an alternate method of reading than the zip files I've been doing. Thank you very much for continuing reading Oresama!

I think it is really hard to stop those site (almost every group has the same problem) and they do not even care if you tell them to stop.

    1. Yes, I didn't even know those websites reap unearned profits. It is difficult to stop, but I would try to prevent immediate uploading at the very least. Thank you very much for your support!

    1. Yes, some English manga companies have closed down because of mass manga piracy online. :( But anyway, thank you very much for your support! I would like to assure you that it is only a consideration, and I will like to find an alternate method rather than stopping Oresama scans altogether.

  7. I appreciate you doing this and all but I think you should just stop translating if your going to cry about Mangafox. It's becoming quite annoying now with all the groups threatening to stop scanlating when they know full well that Mangafox will not stop. They don't care.

What about the people who follow your rules? We get shunned just because of a few bad apples? It's like the people who support and appreciate what you do don't matter at all. Why not make your scans more private and make your own online reader like a lot of the other smarter groups do? Downloads won't be available until whatever date you chose.

Whatever. I'm at the point where I want to stop reading manga all together because of groups like this. What's the point if I can't complete it anyway because the translator got butthurt over something that isn't theirs in the first place. Only really reading because I know little japanese. I'm learning but far from being a pro yet but I can't wait to get to the point where I won't have to tolerate you people anymore. I will thank groups like you for giving me the motivation to completely learn it also. Good Luck to you.

    1. Thank you very much for your input on the situation.

I digress that I didn't really pay attention when writing the warning (hence the gross grammar), and was purely upset at how quickly they got ahold of my scans. I apologize for the rash announcement.

However, I have stated that I would only consider, not with certainty, throw Oresama away. I would much prefer if there were an alternate method of display. An online reader might be nice, but I believe I would need funds for that. I was more or less looking for suggestions from the fans instead of sympathy. I must dearly apologize for the apparent lack of understanding between us.

I would also urge you not to stop reading manga because it is an enjoyable past time, and it really shouldn't be ruined by big company people who don't care about the manga world.

Although I appreciate your sentiment and opinion, I would rather disagree with the tone you're using to display such emotions. I know we are all upset, and you in particular because of wimpy scanlations that don't find a way around Manga Fox, etc. Yes, Oresama isn't mine, but the translations are. The typesetting is. It is amateurish to think that what we are doing is not, in one sense or another, partially ours. Before computers raged the universe (lol), there were many manga publishing companies SELLING their translations. I am not selling my work; it is for free. It is just irking to see something done for no profit whatsoever is made as a profit for others.

I appreciate your zeal to learn Japanese, but not so much as the reason. Learning a language is like learning a culture, and if your motivation to learn is out of spite of us "butthurt" translators, then I suggest you please stop learning until you find a more suitable reason. It is insulting to the culture as well as to the translators themselves.

Also, calling me butthurt is not a very polite method of getting your point across. You should call me "troubled" or "emotional" instead.

In conclusion, I really do appreciate your wonderful insight to another opinion of my post. I will find another method to at least prolong the distribution on those websites. And thank YOU very much for such an eye-opening experience. I will be sure to watch what I say before I post! I hope you have a wonderful day/life/existence/etc.

    2. I am truly sorry for my post. Just this was the 5th group I've been on this week complaining about mangafox. They've been doing this for years and I've had to stop reading some of my favorite manga because the group stopped translating.

I've been wanting to learn japanese for a while. Regardless of my motivation of waiting to completely learn now has really nothing to do with you. I respect the culture very much. Excuse me for not going into detail of all the other reasons I want to learn. It wasn't really important at the time. Just find it very upsetting that the reason I can't continue reading or playing the stuff I love is because of a language barrier. These "mangafox" incidence just added a big push to my motivation. My future career is to be a Voice-actor one day or work anywhere in the anime industry.

I see now that, I was the one butthurt or emotional as I didn't completely finish reading your post. I'm extremely sorry for that. I hope you don't stop and find other alternatives.

Thanks and Good Luck to you,

      Takeva

    1. Hello there!
I have not dropped Oresama Teacher. I'm sorry for not posting any updates lately! I have actually just finished translating chapter 101 and sent it over to Baka Kyoudai for typesetting. A new chapter will be up in a few days!

Thank you so very much for being patient!
